At the National Early Education Career Institute, we are achieving more with our initiatives as a nation-wide industry resource for childcare providers and early care practitioners. We work on many exciting projects helping to improve the career experience of diverse populations. As a nonprofit institute we value the impact providers have on the economical flow of our nation, as they provide childcare while fostering the development and well-being of children.

 

We acknowledge the important role they play as essential service providers to communities across the nation. 

What We Do:

  • Provide low cost/debt free CDA and ECE Certificate credential for qualifying learners.

  • EECI is a US Department of Labor ECE Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor bringing jobseekers and employers together.

  • We offer Certification and Credential courses all include One on One support for all students including individuals earning GED and/or with learning disabilities.

  • We build confidence and bridge academic gaps of higher education readiness. 

  • Childcare Desert Entrepreneur (Business Owner) support for learners in communities with very few and/or no childcare facilities 

  • Gather information and data to research barriers impacting childcare industry workforce barriers and present to CCRR and attempt to build collaborative community childcare partnerships.

  • We travel to meet the needs Face to Face of rural and tribal communities to provide competency courses to eliminate access of formal education barriers for communities serving America's most vulnerable children.

  • Our nutritional program sends fruit and vegetables to childcare providers experiencing food insecurities while transitioning into the school or workforce as an effort to aid in promotion of healthy practices for childcare laborers.

  • Our team attend round table discussions, host Club House events and use social platforms to support policy changes that will promote better wages for childcare laborers.

  • EECI provide mitigation and stabilization support for community, state, and workforce development boards development through cohort services while strengthening local partnerships.

Early Childhood Educator Programs

At the Early Education Career Institute, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issues to support building the ECE workforce pipeline. Competence and qualification to promote labor readiness is by no means an easy feat, but through access and affordability we have facilitated progress in this area. We provide ongoing credential and career competence courses to support the recruitment and hiring efforts aiding employers, states and federal workforce development boards build a sustainable ECE infrastructure through new Early Care and Education labor ready talent.

SCHOLARSHIP

Wage The Difference

At the Early Education Career Institute (EECI), we are dedicated to providing aspiring and new childcare workers with the support they need to succeed in their careers. We understand the importance of ongoing education and professional development in the childcare industry, which is why we offer limited scholarships to help individuals maintain employment while furthering their skills.

Our Hero scholarships provide recipients with: a one-time course opportunity for $199 to enhance their knowledge and expertise. The scholarship does not include the CDA assessment or course materials, which are available for a fee of $65.

PLAYTHINGS

Play To Learn Fostering Play Initiative

The PlayThings project provides on-site make and take projects and mailed monthly activity boxes to Practitioners.  The goal is to promote great opportunities for you as a practitioner to access quality play to learn materials. You may use these to implement practices with the children you serve. The Early Education Career Institute recognizes with access to the right resources, as a community of practitioners you become empowered by your abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill your potential as educational coaches to children you serve.
